GAME DESCRIPTION

One of the classic Williams pinball games released.  First solid state pinball game with SPEECH.  7-word Vocabulary.  Heartbeat Background sound that increases the longer the ball is in play.  2 Flippers, 2 Slings, 1 Spinner, 3 Pop Bumpers, 2 Banks of Drop Targets (3 Target in each bank), 4 Stationary Targets and a Playfield Magnet.  The artwork package for Gorgar is one of the best for that time period.

Game shopping included with new rubbers, rebuilding of all mechanical pieces (Flippers, Slings, Pop Bumpers, Kickout Saucer, Drop Targets).  All electronics were inspected and if necessary, repaired.  A more valuable Sys7 MPU is installed in the game. Battery Holder replaced.  40-pin connector replaced on the Driver Board. All segments of every digit on all Score Displays work.  New chrome leg bolts were installed on the front legs.  New Leg Levelers were installed on each of the 4 legs.  All legs were repainted black and look brand new.  New Chrome plunger spring was installed.  The plunger was removed and polished on a buffer wheel to look brand new (along with a new Plunger nylon sleeve).  New decals have been placed on the Drop Targets.  All carriage bolts on the Coin Door were removed and polished on a buffer wheel to look brand new.  The Coin Door is clean, shiny and dent-free.  Playfield looks great with some wear by the flippers (this area has been covered by Mylar to prevent additionally future wear).  Playfield has been cleaned and waxed.  The underside of the Playfield has been cleaned, including the light inserts.  All plastics are clean, unbroken, straight and no cracks exist.  All General Illumination & Computer Controlled lamps work. No Switch issues. No solenoid issues, however the Knocker is not hooked up.  Backglass is very nice with no peeling. Backglass has been sealed with Triple Thick.

CONDITION

The game looks REALLY NICE.  This game is very clean - its ready for someone's house.  The Playfield looks really nice, bright and shiny.  There is some wear in front of the Slingshots and where the flipper tips rubbed the Playfield at one time - these areas are covered by Mylar to prevent further wear.  Below is a rating (scale 1 to 10) of the different relavant areas on the game.

  • Cabinet - 8.5 - Looks great for a game that is over 25 years old.  Only thing that keeps it from being a 9 or 10 is a few nicks and scrapes.
  • Coin Door - 9 - Only thing that keeps it from being a 10 is it doesn't have a Lock/Key.
  • Backbox - 8.5 - Looks great for a game that is over 25 years old.  Only thing that keeps it from a 9 or 10 is a few nicks and scrapes.
  • Backglass - 9.5 - A small mark by the Player 2 Score Display and miniscule scratches here-n-there.
  • Playfield - 8.5 - Looks great!  Really shiny and bright.  There are small wear spots in front of each Slingshot and each Flipper. New decals on the 6 Drop Targets.
  • Playfield Plastics - 9.75 - They are all there, straight - NONE are chipped or broken.
  • Legs - 9.5 - They have been repainted black.  They look brand new.   This includes 4 new Leg Levelers and 4 new Chrome Leg Bolts on the front legs.
  • Electronics - 9.5 - Every feature on every board works.  The 40-pin Connector on the Driver Board has been replaced.  The Battery Holder has been replaced.  The only reason they are not rated as a 10 is because of age - something that is 25 years old can not be as good or nice as something that is brand new.
