Walk to Rivendell

Tour by Ranger Jewel

51-54 Miles

Congratulations! Doesn't it feel great to have accumulated 50 miles! We're stil struggling through the rough country east of Woodhall. We've been traveling through dense underbrush. At this point, Frodo, Sam and Pippin were "hot, tired, and very scratched and they were also no longer certain of the direction in which they were going."

We've been following their trail along a little stream. It was at about the 55 mile mark that Pippin realized it was the Stock-Brook. We'll have to cross it to get back on course to the Ferry. I hope you don't mind getting your feet wet-we'll have to wade across Stock-Brook just like the hobbits did (but, of course, they didn't have shoes to get wet!)
