Vamp 1.10 (2005-02-28)

• Added support for different languages. A complete localization for Spanish (courtesy of Christian Martin) and a massively incomplete localization for Japanese are included to demonstrate how the mechanism works. We will rely on donated interface translations by native speakers to expand the languages that Vamp supports.
• Added a simple inventory mechanism. Inventory information can be viewed in the Crypt and Library tabs, but modified only on the Inventory tab. It is possible to look for a selected inventory card on Ebay with the Ebay button.
• Added support for the Kindred Most Wanted set to the Sets & Rarities tabs.
• Added support for Kindred Most Wanted's new Abomination clan.
• Added a link to The Lasombra's very useful rules page from Vamp's Configuration tab.
• Added a button to view the Monger web page for the selected card.
• Added a configuration option to remove multiple crypt entries for the special vampire "Camille Devereux, The Raven", who now exists in three differently named cards which all contest with one another.
• Improved several built-in filters. As always, when Vamp's filters change it does not effect any of your saved filters.

Vamp 1.09 (2004-12-04)

• Added support for the 10th Anniversary set to the Sets & Rarities tabs.
• Moved the functionality of the Reset Filter, Load New Filter..., Save Current Filter As..., and Zap Counts & Pushpins buttons to three new buttons at the top right of the Crypt and Library sub-tabs. This is meant to increase the accessibility of that functionality.
• Vamp now remembers your last Crypt or Library sub-tab setting.
• Added a checkbox to the Sets & Rarities tabs which controls whether the set filters and rarity filters are ANDed or ORed together. Settings used to be ORed, but ANDing seems to be more generally useful and will be the default for new Vamp installations.
• Added some additional configuration options, including one to fix the alphabetization of library cards beginning with "The ". For example, when this new option is selected, "The Summoning" will be displayed as "Summoning, The". This makes selecting library cards by their names in the library list more consistent.
• Added a library pattern for Government cards.
• Changed the Gehenna-only filter to be the Gehenna-related filter, including several additional cards.
• Minor modifications and enhancements to many existing filters.
• Made a behind-the-scenes modification to make Vamp's saved filters future-proof against additional filtering options.

Vamp 1.08 (2004-06-06)

• Corrected a long-standing bug of Vamp totally ignoring variable library card costs. Variable library card costs are now parsed and displayed correctly. For filtering purposes, variable cost cards are treated as if they always match the selected blood or pool cost range. For sorting purposes, variable cost cards are treated as if they had no cost.
• Added a library pattern for investments.

Vamp 1.07 (2004-06-05)

• Changed outputing and printing so that in the absence of selected cards, the crypt list and the library card list will both default to selecting any pushpinned cards. This is intended to facilitate outputing and printing decks saved with a deck filter; such decks are normally entirely marked with pushpins.

Vamp 1.06 (2004-06-02)

• Fixed two crypt discipline filtering bugs pointed out by Xian. Affected disciplines: melpominee, valeren.

Vamp 1.05 (2004-06-01)

• Fixed a bug with deck filter loading where only the current tab, either Crypt or Library, would be updated. The bug only affected the user interface, not saved deck filters.
• Added a default output format preference to the Configuration panel.
• Added tool tip text to the Card sets controls to provide information on set release dates and booster pack composition. The information was drawn from Lasombra's Vampire: The Eternal Struggle Site.

Vamp 1.04 (2004-05-30)

• Added deck filters. Deck filters combine both crypt and library filters so that it is possible to store built decks in a single file.
• Changed the Print Deck button to invoke a popup menu that permits print previewing as well as printing.
• Corrected a bug in the crypt Damage Prevention pattern that the Gehenna vampire Bruce de Guy triggered.
• Corrected a bug in the crypt Cold Iron Vulnerability pattern introduced by a change in Kiasyd card text capitalization during the Gehenna update.
• Corrected a bug in the crypt Presses pattern that the Gehenna vampires Mukhtar Bey and Petra triggered. Hanna Redmonds was also effected by this bug.
• Corrected a bug in the crypt Maneuvers pattern that Hanna Redmonds triggered.

Vamp 1.03 (2004-05-26)

• Updated for the Gehenna set. Updates include group 4 vampires, the Event card type, and library patterns for new concepts such as boons, changelings, dhampiri, and Gehenna cards.
• Moved the archetype library pattern from the Sects tab to the Other tab now that there are non-Sabbat archetypes.

Vamp 1.02 (2003-12-12)

• Added a discipline ordering preference to the Configuration panel.
• Added and tweaked some more of the built-in filters.

Vamp 1.01 (2003-12-12)

• Fixed a results table selection bug reported by salem. While addressing this bug, enhanced the preservation of selected cards across the application of new filters.
• Updated this web site with a more direct link to get a JRE from Sun.

Vamp 1.00 (2003-12-11)

• Unfortunately, filter formats have changed slightly, invalidating any previously saved filters. With this 1.00 release of Vamp there should be no further filter format changes.
• Added the Print Deck button, which directly prints a single-page listing of the selected crypt and library cards designed to facilitate deck construction. The listing cannot be saved to disk as it uses graphics to represent clans, disciplines, and card types. The format was designed with an eye towards the authors' method of storing unused V:TES cards; hopefully we aren't so abnormal in our habits that this feature will be useless to everyone else.
• Added a simple icon for master cards. The icon is important for the Print Deck functionality.
• Sorting is now saved in Vamp's filters to an extent. Multicolumn sorting information is not preserved, just the last sorted column.
• Fixed a bug in Vamp's HTML output that miscounted Action Modifiers and Political Actions as Actions in addition to their correct card type.
• Fixed a bug in Vamp's HTML output that miscounted Antitribu vampires as their Camarilla clan in addition to their correct clan.
• Fixed a bug in Vamp's HTML output that prevented it from respecting selected columns.
• Selected results are no longer cleared after generating output. They are still cleared whenever filtered results change.
• The Crypt and Library results tables now do multi-character matching on card names when they have the focus.
• Vamp now remembers the last major panel you were viewing and restores it when it is launched.
• Added a Sets & Rarities panel to provide some additional filtering options.
• Fixed various card filtering issues with some of the built-in filters. Also added additional filters.

• Fixed a bug introduced in 0.91 that hid the Camarilla, Sabbat, and Independent check box labels on the Crypt panel's Sect sub-panel.

Vamp 0.91 (2003-11-22)

• Data loading routines made entirely asynchronous. Progress monitors should now always work when loading data.
• The entire scrollable area of a filtered results table is now a valid drop target when dragging rows.
• Fixed a bug with improper crypt card counts in output files.
• Output files were corrected to use platform-specific line breaks instead of always using *nix line breaks.
• Fixed a problem where some titled vampires were not being listed as titled if their card text consisted only of a title and did not end with a period. Affected vampires: Anvil; Caitlin; Chester DuBois; Gitane St. Claire; Ian Wallingford; Jessica; Kij Dansky; Korah; Lachlan, Noddist; Olivia; Sheldon, Lord of the Clog.
• The Filter For button did not add duplicate regular expresions to the current filter (as they are meaningless), but the Currently active regexps list would list them. The user interface now accurately reflects what happens internally.
• Added an Advanced column in the crypt results table. The column is hidden by default. (Note that when upgrading to a version of Vamp that has added a column to its crypt or library results tables, you will find your default displayed columns initially incorrect unless the new column was added at the end.)
• Reduced the Currently active regexps list size to show two rather than three regular expressions. This restores a little vertical space which can be used to show additional results.
• Enter at the Regexp field now triggers the Filter For button.
• Fixed a problem parsing the library card Death Pact.
• Split built-in library card patterns related to sects and titles off onto their own library card Sect panel to provide more room on the library card Other panel for miscellaneous built-in patterns.
• Added built-in crypt patterns for additional strikes, damage prevention, maneuvers, and presses.
• Added built-in library patterns for ammunition, animals, discipline-granting cards, Seraphs, weapons, and zombies. Sped up most existing patterns.
• Renamed the Zero Counts & Pushpins button to Zap Counts & Pushpins to reflect that card counts are reset to one, not zero. The new name lets us keep the same accelerator key for that button.
• Added a Black Hand icon.
