Supervision
For over 30 years advanced clinical supervision has been one of my
fortes. For 29 years I trained and supervised doctoral students in their
applied clinical work. I supervised interns. I supervised psychologists
prior to licensure. Area mental health professionals (psychiatrists,
psychologists, and social workers) sought me out for clinical
supervision.
Although mental health professionals have specifically approached me
for supervision and training in the dissociative disorders,
EMDR and hypnosis, my greatest skill is in general
clinical supervision and, in particular, resolving process,
counter transference, and impasse issues.
As an EMDR Consultant, individuals can obtain certification as an
EMDR Therapist via supervision with me.

Workshops
I have coordinated many workshops and presented many workshops myself.
Clearly, I can present workshops in any of my areas of specialization:
trauma, dissociation, EMDR, hypnosis, creativity and creative problem
solving, relaxation and stress management, and meditation.
There are many other potential workshops I could present. Some might be:
improving communication (either between individuals or within
an organization),
enhancing organizational effectiveness and culture,
enhancing therapeutic effectiveness,
therapeutic process,
countertransference,
using the person of the therapist in therapy,
working with and resolving shame, and
releasing and letting go.
Consultation
I have been invited to provide consultation to various organizations:
psychiatric inpatient units, outpatient mental health services,
political staffers, gifted and talented services, and mental health hot
line organizations.
Individuals have sought consultation on the following:
differential diagnosis of complex patients, differential diagnosis of
dissociative patients, and resolution of impasses.
