Puppy Kindergarten

To give you and your puppy the best start in life. A fun learning experience that teaches fundamental skills: walking politely on leash, good manners with dogs and people, and eye contact. Simple commands are practiced, including sit, down, stay, come, leave it, take it, and watch me.

Basic Skills
5 months and older

Reinforce and generalize fundamental skills, and add new tools to your family’s toolbox. Emphasis will be placed on teaching house manners and diminishing any undesirable behaviors through positive reinforcement of alternative behaviors.

Advanced training
5 months and older
 6 sessions

Advanced training will follow the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) curriculum, which includes the commands come, stay (with distance and duration), heel, stand for grooming, polite greetings, controlled reaction to other dogs and people, sit, down, supervised separation. Learn to respond to cues despite distractions.
