I thought I'd throw up a few of pictures.
Here's a picture of comet Hale-Bopp. Taken with a 50 mm lens on a tripod. Notice the trail of the plane that passed over as the picture was taken.

This picture was taken with a 12 1/2 inch f6 reflector - no drive. I used a 28 mm RKE eyepiece and handheld a 35 mm camera with a 50mm lens behind the eyepiece (I may have used a separate tripod to hold the camera - I don't remember). The scope belonged to an astronomy club I belonged to at the time. The focuser is now on my 10 inch.

This picture was taken with the same scope, prime focus at 1/60 second.

The observatory was built mostly with used lumber - mainly the remnants of an earlier attempt. The pieces of the siding were bought for 10 cents each from a lumber yard. They were the pieces they had left over when they built utility sheds.

We have 4 satellite dishes. A 7 1/2 foot, 10 foot, a Primestar dish for ku and a Dishnet dish.
I have 5 satellite receivers, including an Mpeg-FTA that uses the 10 foot and the Primestar dishes.

And my bull snake,

A picture of your boss

My fatass neighbor, Buttcrack

One last picture. I noticed that when we make ice cubes, they often have "spikes" jutting upward when they are frozen. What causes them? Beats me!
