The photos on this page were provided by C.V. (Vernon) Bradford. Vernon served as a Radio Technician in "C" Division aboard the USS Charles Ausburne DD-570 during World War II and is also a plank owner.

Vernon's recollection is that these photos were probably taken near the end of the war as some of the Chiefs pictured were not promoted until late. Vernon does not appear in any of the photos and the names and some particulars have been lost to time.
