God, please bless all the parents here
Who kneel each day to pray
And ask only for their children
To remain safe everyday
They are the back bone of this world
The loving and guiding hand
Give them peace and the strength
To help others understand
Help them as they strive each day
And try to do what is right
And bring them rest and comfort
When they lay down each night
Lord help others to heed their words
As wisdom from them flows
For they have much to teach us
Much knowledge from them grows
Yes, thank you for all the parents here
Who kneel each day to pray
And ask only for their children
