It's called living out your dreams folks. I'm glad I finally got started on mine. Lots of people never get the chance.

Gear down! And welded complete. This was what I thought was going to be the hardest part. It turns out, like most things if you just get started, it's never as hard as you thought.

The short tube going to the rear fuselage fitting is 5/8"O.D.(about 2" long). I cut it on a 45 and let the 1/2" tube running back to it go right into the socket. That made for a lot of welding surface and keeps you from having to make a hard fit-up.
