I use the gorilla box.  I think it's convenient... holds paints, palette knives, palette, chain for paper towels, clips for brush holder, 9x12 or 8x10 panels.  It isn't long enough for my brushes .... I stick them in my backpack with the turps, paper  towels, homemade brush holder (from a plastic shampoo bottle) & S hook, bug spray, etc.  It has a leather shoulder strap.  It is easy to clip to the tripod. I like it.

Pluses: In my mind the best of the Pochade boxes.  Very well made, light weight, comes is several sizes.  Can order the lightweight version which comes in a soft sided bag instead of a heavy walnut box.  these include a panel carrier as well.

Separate panel carrier adjusts to various size panels. I put foam core on the sides of the panel carrier to keep dirt etc from panel surfaces when wet.

The people there are wonderful to work with.  They will do anything to help you.

Drawbacks:  It is not cheap but worth every penny.  You also need a good tripod with the right mount.

Pluses: Holds 3 panels and palette (wood); lightweight, reasonable price.

Minuses: Thumbscrews which adjust the panel holder/easel can easily come off and get lost; their backpack is too large and has mesh pockets which catch on anything and everything you put into the backpack; their tripod is well made but heavy and doesn’t really fit into the backpack.

Note: buy glass for palette and grey paper to fit into the box, seal them in with tub caulk.
