Lama Su here aint the greatest of figures.  Sure he is adequately sculoted and is decently articulated.  However, the scale is slightly off and he just doesn't look as cool as he did in the movie.  Sure, he is hard to recreate in a 3 3/4" scale, but damnit, Hasbro can do better!  The paint scheme is off as well.  In the movie Lama wore grey and black, which suited the stark and sterile Kaminoian interiors.  With all this purple on, Lama looks like he's heading for Mari Gras!  At least Lama comes with an extra figure, even if it is a boring clone kid.  Oh well, at least Hasbro made him.  Not a bad figure, just all to average.

Been as how this Kamonian was on my “top 10 most wanted figures” list - I was seriously excited to see it being offered as a 2003 1st QU HASBRO basic assortment figure, even though I did not find one at retail until almost the beginning of the 3rd QU. I always knew that this would make an incredibly cool figure (which it is) but I had no idea that HASBRO would offer such a killer accessory (a whole other figure). I love it when you guys do that! In this case it is a Clone Youth all dressed up in his uniform with headgear. Lama Su is limited on articulation but has a great paint application and an extra cool sculpt and I can’t remember if I mentioned it or not but he comes with a totally different figure for his accessory. Now, that is value. A true value, that is!
