Currently the Cantina assortment is easy to find in Lexington.  Merely hop on over to area Wal-Marts and visit Toys-R-Us to pick up these gems.  Word has it that Toys-R-Us will be stocking Episode 3 preview figures on Feb. 1!  So, get those wallets out and get ready to trade greenbacks for beautiful figures! -Adam-Wan Kenobi

We’re down with OTC, ya you know me – we’re down with OTC….. Anyway, Wal-mart on Richmond Road ( Lexington ) is most certainly down with OTC. While frequenting there today I walked into a totally jammed toy aisle of fresh and new Star Wars figures all of the OTC variety. I hate the idea of continual repacks but this new line has such awesome card art that resembles the SW toys from the way past that it makes it rather easy to swallow. I scored all of the OTC figures from #1 to #20. Only 7 of these figures are new sculpts and they are extra great. I managed to pick up 2 of each of these. They are the best from the line so far, for obvious reasons. They are: #1 Luke Skywalker (Dagobah Training), #2 Yoda  (Dagobah Training), #3 Spirit Obi-wan (Dagobah Training), #4 R2-D2 (Dagobah Training), #18 Princess Leia (Cloud City), #19 Cloud Car Pilot & #20 Lobot (Cloud City). Even though I scored huge, I left plenty of figures for the taking. It might be a good idea to hit all of the neighboring Wal-marts if you are in need of these figures over the next few days as they all have the same delivery schedules.  Also, the OTC Lightsaber Collection has been spotted at both Lexington Targets.  Also, showing up at Lexington ’s very own TRU – I have seen the OTC Darth Vader’s Tie Fighter the last 3-4 visits. This is a great piece with extremely awesome packaging and comes with the Darkest Lord of the Sith….. Vader!   Things are starting to roll again where Star Wars collecting is concerned so be sure to keep us posted on any of your findings and we will do the same for you, right here at Coruscant Customs. There have been several new SW toys spotting as of late, however not in any large quantities. I (Bluesnaggletooth) did luck out yesterday and found one new SAGA Admiral Ozzel at Wal-mart ( Richmond Road ). On that same day Adamwan-kenobi found 1 new SAGA Dengar at Walmart (Northside) and I heard from a very reliable source that this newer wave of figures is hitting both Meijer Lexington locations. Also in other Walmart news, I found both the SAGA Tanus Spijek and the Unleashed Clone Trooper (Red Variant) at Winchester ’s very own Wally-world.

TRU has had very little as of late. However, as of today they had a huge pile of the SAGA Red Leader’s X wing Fighter. This is the second time I have seen a shipment of these at TRU. So this is your second chance to snag this killer ship up. Keep in mind that they didn’t last that long the first time that they made an appearance in the aisles. Until next time happy hunting!!!

Wal-mart has become my new favorite place to check out for Star Wars figures as of late, and if you are a Star Wars action figure enthusiast as I am you’ll want to make it your hot spot too. On two separate occasions, at two separate locations – I, Blue Snaggletooth, have scored all of the new figures from the Yavin/Tantive IV themed wave. I have spotted all 4 new figures, some of which have been in great supply, and have managed to even pick up a couple of extras for customizing. I have yet to spot the ever so elusive Tanus Spijek, but I keep hoping – could he be 2004’s version of Ephont Mon. As for the other four SAGA figures (Captain Antilles, Dutch Vander – Gold Leader, General Jan Dodonna & Tie Fighter Pilot), all of them are out there. So, be on the look out for these exciting new figures, and let us know if you spot that Tanus. Happy Hunting, over and out.

The past 2 days have been somewhat lucrative for Star Wars collecting. While out on the scene, I Bluesnaggletooth, spotted the following items at the following locations:

TRU ( Lexington - Nicholasville Rd. ). I grabbed a fresh set of the new Star Wars Hall of Fame line (which consists of 12 different rehashed figures from the past). They had an overly abundant supply out for sale so hurry up and get yours before they rehash something else.

Target ( Lexington – Hamburg Pavilion). I hate to post a score when I only see a few figures out for sale, especially if I am buying the majority of them. However, this makes the 3rd time I have seen these in small quantity so I wanted to let you all know that they are hitting. I have seen the Star Wars Clone Wars Animated series 2 figures at this Target only and every time I see them they are few and far between, so good luck. Today on my way to work, I stopped in Target to find a Star Wars Collectible Figure and Cup set – featuring Darth Maul. This was the only cup set I could find out of the 5. The glass appears to be made of plastic rather than actual glass - which is OK. However, as a concept these cup sets are 100% Jedi ass kicking awesome, despite the plastic nature of the cup. 

Wal-mart ( Winchester and Mount Sterling ). Both of these Wally worlds had plenty of the newest assortment of the Star Wars Unleashed figure line. This line consists of a Clone Trooper, X-wing Luke & Chewie – the mighty Wookie. This line just keeps getting better, and up next is Bossk.

Just returned from Toys-R-Us.  The Lexington TRU has the new Unleashed figures!  In decent supply were Luke Hoth, Chewbacca, and Clone Trooper Unleashed.  The real treat is, with every $14.99 spent, you get a free 3 3/4" figure!  So by picking up the three Unleashed figures you get to select three basic figures at no additional cost!  This deal only lasts until the end of February, so don't delay!

While visiting my local Wal-mart, I discovered a very cool score!  Before my eyes were the new Ultra figures.  Yes, my fellow KY collectors, Jabba the Hutt and his denizens have invaded the Bluegrass!  There was also convincing evidence that the new figure wave had hit Target Hamburg, unfortunately we were there too late to get the new Jabba basic wave.  However, when we do score these figures we will post it here ASAP.
