Scholastic Sports America is a weekly program devoted to the achievements of high school athletes, both on and off the field. SSA includes features on outstanding high school athletes and teams as they interact in class and their communities, with their families, friends and teammates. SSA covers the many issues affecting America's youngsters in sports. SSA airs Mondays from 2-2:30 p.m.  (CT)

Assignment Discovery airs an hour program each morning, Monday thru Friday on the Discovery Channel at 8 a.m. (CT).  Each program has a curriculum guide included.  As a service of Discovery Channel with Cable in the Classroom, each program is commercial free and can be taped and used in the classroom for up to a year.

 

By the beginning of February, you can go to The Discovery Channel and down load the spring lineup of Cable in the Classroom programming for both Assignment Discovery and also TLC Elementary School.
