TLC programming is adapted from Discovery Channel material, but with vocabulary and concepts more suitable for elementary students.  Each half-hour program airs on Fridays at 5:00am, and consists of several short segments so you can easily incorporate one or more of them into your existing lesson plans.  The programs are commercial-free and can be taped and used in your classroom for up to two years.  Insight suggests that you record, catalog and save any of these programs that relate to your curriculum.  Click on the TLC Logo above and receive lesson plans and print those to save with the videotape.

After June 11, TLC Cable in the Classroom programming will be on summer hiatus.  Check their website periodically before school begins to see what will be available for the fall semester.
