It’s been rough getting in gear this year. I guess age is taking its toll, because the phrase “good enough” keeps popping into my head as I work on projects. The trouble is, there aren’t enough hours in the days off to get much done. I keep thinking things will be better after I retire, and maybe so. I’m really interested in videography, and that’s really a pretty sedate pastime. Most of the time involved is in the editing, and that’s just more computer-geek stuff. Our plan, maybe, is to upgrade our trailer and spend a few months at a time on the road. I already edit in the trailer on a laptop, but a more commodious caravan would give us room for a desktop workstation. Who knows, I might even be able to bring in some extra cash.
In the meantime, I’ve started putting up some video on Google’s new server. I had done this years ago, using a site called “Popcast,” but the quality was really terrible. Improved codecs make the current stuff more watchable. When I get around to updating Edgar’s page, I’ll add more general interest titles, but you can get an idea of what it looks like from the Monster Bash video at the links below.
