Most of the preachers of these messages are on television and many of them have worldwide influence. The key issues are, first, is the theology of CPT biblical? Second, do these practices conform to biblical instruction concerning human experience? If Positive Thinking is not based on fact, or if it is unbiblical, then the millions of Christians who follow these teachings are being given a substitute faith of questionable value.
    For millions of people around the world, these Christian Positive Thinking programs are the only basis by which they know American Christianity or even Christianity at all. It is our view that these Positive Thinking are presenting a distorted, unbalanced, and false Christianity around the world. Such "Christian" Positive Thinking will not stand the test of time precisely because it is more of humanistic faith than biblical gospel. People are becoming concerted by the millions who may eventually fall away because they have embraced another gospel.
