Our Newest Journey...

Christopher had his first set of seizures on February 4, 2005. He had at least 5 of them on this date before the IV with Phenobarbital was put in at the hospital.
He did not react well at all to Phenobarbital (he was otherwise known as Crazy Christopher). He was extremely irritable (to put it nicely) and completely uncoordinated. We have been through some medicine changes since then and have seen more seizures than we care to, but we are just taking things day by day. At present, he is having focalized siezures but unfortunately, they also come with breathing difficulties, so it is difficult to watch and wait for one to come to an end.

This is a new chapter for us in our journey, but I am sure that Christopher will show us the way as he typically does.
