My First Year...

My first year went by really quickly. Mom got to stay home with me for the first 3 months and then only worked part-time until I was 6 months old. I started daycare right before I turned 6 months old. It was fun to be around all the other babies and I certainly met some new friends. Here are some more pictures from my first year.

I loved my silly saucer. It had so many cool toys to play with. Whenever I got bored with one toy, I would just spin myself around to play with something else. Over the next several months, I would just go nuts spinning myself around in that seat that I made myself dizzy.

Bath time is still one of my favorite activities. In fact, I learned all the letters of the alphabet right there in the tub. Mom has those foamy letters that are so fun to stick on the walls of the tub. It made learning the letters fun. In the picture on the right, I am on a playground with mom. I really didn't like the equiptment that shook around too much. I am much more of a slide and swing boy.

One day, I went with mom, Aunt Doris, and my cousin Andrew (bottom left picture smiling at the camera) to the Indianapolis Zoo. It was a lot of fun, but boy, did I get tired. One minute I was riding around and then next, I was out like a light. The accommodations were not exactly five-star, but they made do.
