We Who Are "Born To The Purple" Welcome You!

    Born To The Purple

We are a collection of sophisticated ladies who have been called together by our dear friend, the "Supreme Old Broad" (SOB) so that she could see people she loves dressing up and wearing hats.  It has been our delight to gather and comply. We have no rules, no agenda, and no reason for being other than to have fun. We have raised children, raised funds, and raised the levels of organizations of which we have been presidents and board members. We are now raising a little cain. We usually grace the finest (and not so finest) areas around Louisville, KY. When you see us, and our many sisters, smile. We will be smiling, also. Life is good when you're
"
Born To The Purple."

Warning
by Jenny Joseph

When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me....

...But maybe I ought to practice a little now
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old and start to wear purple.
