| The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn Book review by Tracey This story of Anne Boleyn’s tryst with the Queenship of England is told through the reading of her ‘secret diary’, as read by her daughter Elizabeth I. It is said that Elizabeth would not hear her mother’s name spoken for many years, whether from the loss of her, or the fact that she was supposed to be a traitor. In this imagining, Elizabeth is given the diary and finds out who her mother really was. Everyone has their opinions on historical figures that are of personal interest to them. I will admit that Anne and Elizabeth are both favorites of mine. Ms. Maxwell rounds out the characters nicely. I’ll read this one again. Tracey.
