Falling Angels. Tracy Chevalier. Plume. 2002.

Book review by Tracey
I enjoyed this book. Ms. Chevalier once again has taken a time period, some people, and a course of events and made them meaningful. I like the way she is able to tell the story by being each character in turn. The tale is set around a graveyard, which may sound a little weird, but in fact is very relevant because the Victorian characters in it were known to be great designers and builders of their resting places. It also encompasses a variety of characters of different classes, something entirely pertinent to the age. An added bonus is that I found this copy at a rummage sale. Their loss!

Tracey.
