Review by Tracey
In reading Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1) , the most important
question I had was not whether Mr. Walsch had a conversation with God,
nor was it whether or not the information in this book was legitimate.
The most important question was, "Wouldn't it be fantastic if life were
just as simple as it is portrayed here? If the concepts that flow so smoothly
from the tip of Mr. Walsch's pen were all one needed to achieve spritual
and temporal bliss?" I am not afraid to tell you that I loved this
book! Once I started to read it, I wished for nothing but to be left alone
to absorb it in its entirety. I rejoiced in this book!
For some, perhaps, the ideas expressed in it seem far too different from
what they were originally brought up to believe. For others, the concepts
don't seem original because they echo parts of many different types of
religions. The process of reading this was for me a delightful and effortless
exercise of the mind. Every idea flowed into another and yet another.
Here was the God I always knew existed. Here was acceptance given even
as I felt no need of acceptance. It truly seemed at times as if I were
reading my own mind! What is controversial to some seemed the most natural
of thought patterns to me. I give this book an A+! It was a great read!
