Central IL Bird Rescue and Adoption is a small home-based organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of unwanted pet birds into new adoptive homes. An average of 15 birds, mostly budgies, cockatiels, lovebirds, small parrots and the occasional larger parrot or cockatoo, are relinquished annually. After a period of rehabilitation including vet care as needed, diet conversion, and socialization, those appropriate for adoption are placed into qualified homes.
