For
many years I have wanted to paint the panoramic view of the Olympic
Mountains that I see from my studio. The mountains always seem to
look their best at sunset with a few clouds in the sky for extra color
and drama. While fishing for salmon one summer night I noticed the
conditions were finally perfect for the painting I wanted to do. This
painting is featured as a step by step demonstration in my book "Artist's
Photo Reference: Water & Skies"
