Hello, my name is Dave Rollins and I live in Martinsville,
Indiana . I was first introduced to the exhilerating
experience of trike flying in the Fall
of 2001. I went for an introductory
flight with my good friend Ed Cooper in his Pegasus 912 . Ed and I had been long time friends and
did our first skydive
together out of a DC-3. Ed was
eager to get me up in the air in his new trike. That first flight was all it
took. I was hooked. The following Spring I attended the Sun N' Fun Fly-In in Lakeland,
Florida to do a little field research.
This fly-in is probably one of the best places to see a variety of
light sport and ultralight aircraft. I took flight
instruction from Ron Davis and Gene Dean and now have a sport pilot license in
weight-shift control. I also have my FAA Repairman
- Inspection rating. Ron is
a Sport Pilot CFI in fixed wing and weight-shift control. His

Ron and I are hangar mates and fly out of Pam's Airport in Eminence, Indiana
. I must say that trike flying is
