This is my first house.
I purchased it in September 1998. The picture is a bit dated as I've updated
the porch area and painted the trim, but you get the general idea. When I started
started looking for houses, I was dismayed by the tiny (1400 sq ft) houses my
megar budget would allow. This house is nearly 2000 square feet if you include
the 3-season porch. I knew it needed a lot of work, but it also has so much
potential, and hey.. I'm handy. GAH! If I'd have known how much work and money
it would take to make this house what I wish it to be, I would have opted for
something new, even if it was a bit smaller. At least I'd have free time. But
hey.. that's not an option at this point, so let's move on to some projects.
These projects aren't
really meant to be how-to articles as much as they are sort of a journal of
projects past..
