Application states, " That said minor is a male of the age ofthree years and a resident of said state and county; that he is a childof said petitioner and Mollie S. Saunders who departed this life Dec. 24,1889; that at the time of the death of said Mollie S. Saunders she waspossessed of an estate consisting of about forty acres of land situatedin said state and county of the value $400.00; that said Mollie S.Saunders died intestate; that the said minor is the only surviving heirof the said Mollie S. Saunders; that said land was all the propertypossessed by the said Mollie S. Saunders and this land was the seperateand individual property of hers inherited by her from her father'sestate." 2) January 18, 1894 Granted guardianship of W.E. Obituary: June 28, 1938 THOMAS EDWARD SANDERS Collinsville - ThomasEdwards Sanders, 76, former resident of the Ethel community, died at hishome in Faxon, Okla., at 1 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services were held atFaxon Saturday afternoon and the body was brought to Ethel for anotherservice and burial in the Ethel cemetery at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Sanders was born Feb 11, 1862 at Homer, LA. He came with hisparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sanders, to the Ethel community in 1869 andlived there until 1907, when he moved to Faxon. He joined the Baptistchurch early in life. He was married to Miss Mollie McGinenity in 1888and to this union was born one son. In 1892 he married Miss Berta Nixand they became parents of three sons and two daughters. He was latermarried to Miss Thalia Wells, who survives. Two sons were born to thelast union.
Surviving besides his widow are eight children, William Edward Sanders ofHelena, Mont., Mrs Charlie Murrary of Tacoma, Wash., Mrs MattieLauderback of Cashmere, Wash., Carl Sanders of Tacoma, Virgil Sanders ofPetersburg, Texas, Ernest Sanders, of Morton, Texas and Elbert Sanders ofLawton Okla; three brothers, L.H. and W.S. Sanders of Collinsville andO.H. Sanders of Hast...., Okla., three sisters; Mrs. Ona Bergins and MrsMattie Nutt of Collinsville and Mrs. Berta Ross of Coolidge., Ariz. 23grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.More About THOMAS EDWARD EUDORAS SANDERS:
