Fig. 1 starts the sequence with Uke already in the Arm Down position.
Fig. 2 shows Nage striking Uke in the face with a Tegatana or Kuta C-Strike. Uke's left hand has come up to protect Uke's face.
In Fig. 3 Nage has caught Uke's left wrist and pulled Uke's left arm over Uke's right arm forming an ''X''. This is the shape of the Japanese ten which is Juji. Nage's right hand was already holding Uke's right wrist in the Arm Down.
Fig. 4 shows Uke falling. Many people project Uke away for this throw but here Uke is controlled and pinned.
