Come join the BDGA for two rounds of disc golf at the new course at Veteran’s Park in Lexington, KY to prepare for the Lexington Open IV, scheduled for March 23 & 24, 2002, and help repay some debt incurred during the construction of this new course.  Currently the course at Veteran’s Park has been laid out, the baskets have been ordered and clearing is well underway, and club members are working hard to get everything completed.  Parks and Recreation will not allow any installation until all funds and equipment are in the hands of the BDGA.  Fortunately, an anonymous person has loaned the money necessary for the completion of the tee pads, but these funds must be repaid.  **As mentioned previously, the club is working furiously to the get Veteran’s Park completed; however, if there is a snafu, the location of this event will be changed to Shillito.  A final determination will be made by March 2, and any change of venue will be posted at http://www.bdga.org or you can call either of the Picklesimer brothers or Everett Lasley at (859) 223-4477.**

Juniors: $15.00

All Amateurs: $15.00

All Professionals: $20.00

*$5.00 from all entry fees will be donated to the Veterans Park Course Fund

 

We will also be selling mulligans for $1.50 each or 4 for $5.00, with a maximum of 2 per round, so $5.00 will take care of you for the day.  Ace pot $1.00 per round, and we may think of other ways to raise some money, so bring some extra cash with you, just in case.  Unsolicited donations will also be accepted.
