Season Recap -- 1995-1996

Galesburg's nickname was well suited for its style of attack. The Silver Streaks loved to run at every opportunity - and with their three-guard offense, they ran often.

Point guard Molly Watson was the motor for the high octane offense by averaging six assists per game. Guards Ami Pendry and Sarah Wood along with Watson, averaged in double digits and made full court defenses obsolete with their ball handling ability.

Galesburg used four players to play inside by committee. Forwards Jennifer Bulkeley and Jessica Thompson rounded out the starting lineup. Sarah Larson and Angie Galyean were the first off the bench.

This was Galesburg's second consecutive Sweet 16 appearence and the ninth consecutive season the Silver Streaks have won 20 or more games under the direction of 18-year head coach Evan Massey.
