Season Recap -- 2004-05
This year's edition of the Streaks team finished with a 28-6 record and were rated as high as #8 in the state of Illinois. They finished 7-3 in the Western Big 6 Conference in second place. Four of this year's losses were to state champions Peoria (Richwoods) (3-times) and Rock Island (Alleman) (1-time). The team finished the season rated #11 in the AP poll.
Senior LaToya Wright's (16.8 ppg, 8.7 rpg) and sophomore Brenna Saline's (9.8 ppg) led the team. Seniors Michelle Dennison and Sade Boyd were both steady performers for the Streaks as were underclassmen Claire Anderson, Lia Anderson, Kelly Ricketts, Rachel Pendry and Taylor Young.
The GHS sophomores finished 23-2.
