In an ever-increasing world of challenges to the Christian faith, it is advantageous to have access to information written concisely, yet thoroughly enough to be useful to the apologist. This is such a book. John Ankerberg, host of John Ankerberg Show, holds master's degrees in divinity and church history and the philosophy of Christian thought. John Weldon has coauthored more than 75 books and holds three master's degrees and a doctorate in comparative religion. Together, they have penned a book that tackles questions that can be somewhat difficult for the average Christian to answer.

As the title of the book implies, this book is written in such a way that finding those answers can be done quickly, giving the apologist solid ammunition against the challenges to his faith. As is often the case, addressing objections to or difficulties with Christianity could, easily, require an entire library of literature. To be sure, this book was not written with the intention of being an exhaustive resource on each and every objection. It is, however, thorough enough for the common objection and the common objector. It is, also, thorough enough for the common apologist.

Topics covered include questions about evidence of the inerrancy of Scripture, divine inspiration, and the uniqueness of the Bible. Is there credible evidence that Jesus fulfilled Messianic prophecy, that he existed, was crucified, died, and rose from the dead? How can we know that the New Testament is trustworthy? Was Jesus who he claimed to be or was he deluded or, worse, a fraud? What evidence exists that can be used to prove that Jesus was who he said he was? Can we know?

What about Atheism? Is it credible? Are there, really, any true atheists? How do their claims hold up against evidence contrary to their position of the non-existence of a Supreme Being? The authors spend some time with Agnosticism and Relativism. Agnosticism being that one cannot know if a God exists and Relativism being that truth is relative. In other words, if you believe something to be true, then…..it's true. All that is required is the believer's belief. They take a look at scientific evidence of God's existence as well as scientific evidence found in the Bible, written hundreds of years before such scientific findings verified the Bible and disproved the scientific theories that were held at the time the Bible addressed them.

The book makes quick comparisons with other world religions and highlights the differences between those religions and the religion taught in the Bible, Christianity. They spend some time with Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism, and other belief systems. It shows the uniqueness of Christianity when compared to other religions and explains why other religions fall short of the Christian faith.

As stated, this book is not exhaustive on these topics. But, if you ever desire to defend your faith against challenges or win an unbeliever to Christ, it would be useful to have this book in your library. It is something you can come home from work, grab, and do some quick research in just a few minutes. The topics are easy to find and the book is very reader-friendly. I would encourage anyone who takes the great commission seriously to pick up this book and be better prepared to make disciples.
