-Victims and refugees of hurricane Katrina, Don's teaching at Eisenhower, Art G., Mary, Chris and other troops in combat zones, Stacey, church healing and reconciliation, New Life Pregnancy Center, God's Shelter of Love, Geskes' ministry, David and Sasha Bliss, ministry to Millikin University (InterVarsity students and leaders--especially  small group Bible studies), InterVarsity ministry to Richland Community College, Decatur Christian Schools, Sunday School classes, "untouchables" in the Hindu caste system, health concerns.
  
-The NDP Task Force recommends the following prayer requests for the United States:

Government	Ask God to grant wisdom, discernment, and boldness to those who serve in authority over us, from city council members at the local level to the president of the United States and other national figures.  This group also includes appointed officials such as judges, cabinet members, and agency heads, as well as the men and women in the military.  We also need to remember major business leaders who have the power to feed the poor and clothe the naked:  Lee Scott (Wal-Mart), Jim Cantalupo (McDonald's), Mike Eskew (UPS), Bill Ford (Ford Motor Co.), Rick Wagoner (GM), Sam Palmisano (IBM), Jeff Immelt (GE), Bob Ulrich (Target), Bob Nardelli (Home Depot), Joe Pichler (Kroger).
Media	Ask God for journalists who are fair and honest and for entertainers who conduct themselves in a responsible manner.  Pray also for Christian individuals in the news and entertainment industries, asking the Lord to grant them strength and perseverance as they endeavor to let their lights shine in what is often a dark and hostile environment.
Education	Pray that our schools will get back to basics when it comes to educating our children, instilling the leaders of tomorrow with a respect for the Judeo-Christian values upon which our nation was founded.
Church	Ask God to grant us the wisdom and vision to make the church a vessel for healing and revival in America, as well as the means by which individuals and communities are impacted with the love of Christ.
Family	Pray for the institution of the family as a whole and for individual families within our circle of influence.
