Walk to Rivendell

The hobbits needed a break at about the 10 mile mark. They've been working even harder than we have! The hobbits had a bite of "...a very frugal supper (for hobbits), and then went on again..." The night was clear, cool and starry for their travels as they resumed their march through Tookland.

Toward the end of this part of our journey, we cross the Stock Road that leads to Woodhall. It's not used much so Frodo, Pippin and Sam followed it for awhile. We'll do the same since it makes our walk a little easier. We're almost to our first goal-the hobbits' first camp site!
